North of Bolzano, the Tschögglberg rises with its scattered villages. A mountain ridge known for its wide meadows, larch groves, spruce forests, and breathtaking views of the Dolomites. Here, above the idyllic village of Afing, we were fortunate to discover the Menihof – a historic farmstead at 1,250 metres above sea level.
Nestled in the forest and completely secluded, the Menihof is a retreat for couples and conscious travelers seeking tranquility, space, and a connection to nature. The architecture combines the authenticity of the historic barn with clean lines, natural materials, and timeless design. Large windows frame the surrounding landscape, inviting the outdoors in, while the interiors remain calm, thoughtfully curated, and focused on what truly matters.
A place to slow down, reconnect, and simply be – whether for quiet moments together, meaningful conversations, or the pleasure of doing nothing at all. We look forward to welcoming you to this very special hideaway.
